It is GeneRally unique because it does a good job of keeping open windows unaffected when locking your PC without closing any processes or modifying anything. With Windows Lock, you will feel like your PC is covered by an unremovable blanket guarding your files and open windows with its screen blocking feature.
One weaknesses of Windows Lock 1.0 is that it can be easily terminated by Windows Task Manager. We have fixed that weakness and will release the new version of Windows Desktop Lock in the end of June.
For now, this program can not defend your PC against public intruders. It can only block small children and family members from accessing your PC. People with technical skills can easily bypass this program quickly. The future Windows Lock 2.0 will disable Task Manager and everything that can be used to unlock the program.
